Bill admits he happened upon doing the "Sacred Heart Series" by an accidental twist in life. That’s how many great things happen-they evolve, as the artist searches and explores and experiments, caught up in the creative process, using only four colors, "it" happens . . .
. . . and "it" has happened.
There is no other way to describe this artist and his work than with words like "mesmerizing," "spellbinding," "amazing.” The viewer gazes for hours on end and inside relates to this unspoken yet powerful message: Each icon in the series shared something that touched the world, touched countless lives and moved those lives in some passionate way. They shared what was in their hearts. Those hearts changed society in a variety of ways.
Realizing this important process led William to pose the reciprocal question on his viewers: "what is in your sacred heart?" It is as if he is asking, "do you not know our heart holds the key to love, hate, good and evil in the world today?" If we didn't realize it before, then with the help of an artist and his art, we now know precisely the point: each one of us has something special within. Are we searching it out, developing it, refining it, and sharing it? Are we making choices that will change the future for the better?
Why does Bill and his art pose this question? Because the true artist and his art makes us think. "It" inspires us.

As Bill puts it, "The Sacred Heart Series is a collection of iconic paintings imbibed with the sacred heart imagery that I grew up with in the Catholic Church. Each of his sacred hearts has touched the world with the gifts that they have been given. Using their heart energy, these artists and shape shifters were able to change people's lives through the use of their gifts. Without them the world and the way we experience it would be a little dimmer."
In addition to the "Sacred Heart Series," Bill has created the "Wine, Women and Dreams Series" that explores the truly finer things of life, and also does commissioned "Portraits." According to Bill, "My portraits capture the essence obvious and hidden in each subject I paint. People seem to find things in them after having them up for some time that they didn't notice at the initial glance. They seem to change and grow more special with time. They are not traditional . . . but they are unique and in my style."
